The Story

 Shel's Diner is modelled on the authentic 50's style American Diner.   

Our inspirational visit to 'Mel's Diner', Universal Studios, California back in 2001
brought about our creation of 'Shel's Diner'; with the fantastic 'back seat' bench seats,
bar stools, black & white tiles - floors to walls. 

Lots of Movie Memorabilia to gaze over !

Pin balls, Jukebox !

Genuine 'Disney' & 'Warner Brothers' figurines line the walls. You can dine with
Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Marvin the Martian, Tigger & so many more.
Why you can even have your photo  taken with 'Elvis', 'Jake & Elroy' !
With seating comfortably for 75 people, why not come early,
relax & enjoy all we have to offer at Dromana 3 Drive In

The Classic Burger; with a 'Real-Beef Pattie' - The Drive In, The Chev, & the Cheese,
Chilli Chicken, there are Hot Fries, Wedges, Dim Sims, Hot Dogs, Chilli Dogs,
Jam Donuts - all freshly made.

Made to Order

We also have Souvlaki, Vegetarian Burger, Nachos, Wedges with Sour Cream, Bacon & Chilli,
Cinnamon Donuts & a 'Specials' Board which changes regularly.                                

Banana fritters, with our 'Original Secret Recipe', when available.  

Ice Cream

      A wide range of Ice Creams to choose from - Choc Tops, Ice Cream Sundaes, Scoop & the
world-famous Dippin' Dots - the only place on the Mornington Peninsula.

We make the best 'Egg & Bacon Roll', with a soft 'runny' egg on a freshly baked roll ! Many of our
'Market Goers' wear the trade mark yellow-sign !

We use Cottonseed Oil in our deep fryers. All our Meats, Rolls, Fresh/Frozen produce
are purchased thru local businesses.

We can entertain groups celebrating Birthday parties, Vintage / Special Interest Car Enthusiasts,
or even the regular Social Club outing. 

We can cater for your group, 'Movie/Food Deals', with early admission and exclusive use of 'Shel's Diner'.
We are also able to accommodate Corporate Functions, such as Product Releases, Staff Incentives, etc.
